Our Microsoft Office class is a completely interactive training class that teaches the key elements of user-ability in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This program is very engaging and entirely hands on.  It is essential for streamlining your Microsoft Office overall user skills.  The training is divided into two courses:

  1. The Essentials (basics); and
  2. Expert (advance)

We start at the very beginning and progress through with interactive learning.  Our Microsoft Word 2016 course is just what you want for being confident with Word in the workplace. It provides you everything you need to know for personal use, hobbies, non-profit volunteering, or running your own business.

(8 Hour Course) 

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Control Pagination
  • Work with styles
  • Perform advanced editing and formatting
  • Create and manage indexes
  • Create and manage references
  • Manage forms and fields
  • Create mail merge and labels
  • Create and modify building blocks and content controls
  • Create custom style sets, themes and templates
  • Prepare a document for internationalization and accessibility 
  • Work with templates
  • Use version control
  • Manage document reviews and changes


 (10 Hour Course)

 At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Create worksheets and workbooks
  • Navigate in worksheets and workbooks
  • Format worksheets and workbooks
  • Change views and configurations
  • Print and distribute worksheets and workbooks
  • Manage data cells and ranges
  • Create tables, charts and objects
  • Perform operations with formulas and functions


(8 Hour Course) 

At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Save a workbook as a template, with colors, fonts, cell styles and themes
  • Reference data using structured references or data in another workbook
  • Protect a workbook from further editing
  • Prepare a workbook for internationalization
  • Apply custom data formats and validation
  • Apply advanced conditional formatting and filtering
  • Use form controls
  • Work with macros
  • Define and use named ranges
  • Apply functions in formulas using logical functions, math & trig functions, statistical functions and date & time functions

At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Create Presentations from scratch or templates
  • Insert and format slides, handouts and notes
  • Change Presentation views and configurations
  • Insert and work with text, pictures, audio and video 
  • Work with tables, charts, and SmartArt
  • Use transitions and animations 
  • Prepare for a presentation, including the slide size, narration, and timing
  • Manage multiple presentations


(8 Hour Course) 

At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Modify the PowerPoint environment and use multiple presentation windows
  • Use sections and other tools for organizing the presentation
  • Use headers, footers, and slide background options
  • Use advanced formatting options for shapes and text boxes
  • Create a photo album
  • Use advanced selection and shape manipulation techniques
  • Use advanced audio and video options
  • Use advanced transition and animation techniques
  • Collaborate on presentations 
  • Inspect and protect your presentation, along with other additional presentation activities
