Learn How To Start Your Own Business:

More and more people are finding the freedom that comes with having your own business.  As the job market continues to shrink, more and more people are realizing that they too can have their own business and change their finances, life, and lifestyle. Some 27 million Americans will leave full-time jobs from now through 2020, bringing the total number of self-employed to 42 million. According to Forbes magazine "even with unemployment down to 4.3%, the number of self-employed Americans is rising."   Low paying jobs, high student debt is giving rise to the entrepreneur.

Our 14-week Entrepreneurship Training Program will show you how to start a business in the state of Maryland.  Our training program is designed for those who are ready to start or grow their own businesses. Our program is aimed at the unemployed, the under employed, the young and the retired, those in school, and those who are reentering the community,

Flexibility and financial rewards are just the beginning when it comes to the benefits of self-employment.

Many consider entrepreneurship, but never get started simply because they often feel that they lack the skills and finances necessary to start and grow a business.  Our program is designed just for you.  It doesn't matter if you are young or old, employed, under employed, or unemployed, retired or looking to retire, in school or re-entering the community. Our program will take you through the steps . . . step by step . . . to be your own boss and start your own business in the state of Maryland.

 FIRST THINGS FIRST . . .

To start a new business, you must commit yourself!  Once you begin, it will not be a simple or easy thing to simply change your mind and back out.  So start your success by proper planning.

Step 1: Dream it.

Everything begins in the heart and mind. Every great achievement began in the mind of one person. They dared to dream, to believe that it was possible. Take some time to allow yourself to ask “What if?” Think big. Don’t let negative thinking discourage you. You want to be a “dreamer.” Dream of the possibilities for yourself, your family and for others. If you had a dream that you let grow cold, re-ignite the dream! Fan the flames. Life is too short to let it go. If you could own any type of business, what would it be? Before you answer, first remove all fears. Next, remove all limiting beliefs like I don’t know enough. Now ask yourself, if I could do anything that I want to do . . . anything . . . what type of business would I want to start?

Step 2: Believe it.

Yes, your dream needs to be big. It needs to be something that is seemingly beyond your capabilities. But it also must be believable. You must be able to say that if certain things take place, if others help, if you work hard enough, though it is a big dream, it can still be done. Good example: A person with no college education can dream that he will build a $50 million-a-year company. That is big, but believable.

Step 3: See it.

The great achievers have a habit. They “see” things. They picture themselves being the owner . . . the President of their own business even when their bank account may not reflect CEO.  Great free-throw shooters in the NBA picture the ball going through the basket. PGA golfers picture the ball going straight down the fairway. World-class speakers picture themselves speaking with energy and emotion. All of this grooms the mind to control the body to carry out the dream. Now is the time to see yourself already owning your own successful business. Describe what life would be like for you. Describe what you would now be able to do having achieved your heart’s desire?
